1. Information on how to enter and available prizes form part of these conditions of entry. Entry into this competition is deemed acceptance of these conditions of entry. Only entries which are submitted and comply with these conditions of entry may participate in this competition.
2. The Promoter is Sony Pictures Releasing Pty Ltd ABN 28 000 030 115 of Level 26, 1 Market
Street, Sydney NSW 2000 ("Promoter").
3. Entry is open to all Australian residents aged 18 years and over, other than management, employees or contractors of the Promoter and other agencies, firms or companies associated with the Promotion (including suppliers of prizes), and their immediate families ("Eligible Entrants").
4. The competition will start 8.00am ("AEST") on Monday, July 18, 2022 and will continue until 11.00pm AEST, Sunday July 31, 2022. ("Promotion Period").
5. To enter, participants are required to go to the competition entry page (http://BulletTrainScreeningCompetition.splashthat.com) fill out their details and tell us in 25 words or less when a simple job you had went off the rails?
6. Winners will be determined by a representative of the Promoter based on the most creative response.
7. There will be fifty winners in total. 10 in each of Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Adelaide and Perth. Each winner will receive one (1) pass (admitting two persons) to the pre-release screening of Bullet Train on Wednesday, August 3 at 6.30pm in the respective cities listed below. Each double preview screening ticket is valued at $74 each (drink & popcorn). Total prize value: $3,700.

8. Any and all transportation and accommodations associated with attending pre-release screening will not be provided and will be each winner’s sole responsibility.
9. Prize values are based on recommended retail prizes and are correct at the date of printing conditions of entry (inclusive of GST). The Promoter accepts no responsibility for any change in prize value between now and the ultimate date individual prizes are taken.
10. If for any reason whatsoever the prize winners do not or are not able to take the prizes at the time stipulated by the Promoter for any reason, the prize will be forfeited by the winner and cash will not be awarded in lieu of the prize.
11. All entries must be received by 11.00pm AEST on Sunday, July 31. No entries will be accepted after expiry of the Promotion Period. Entries must be correct, complete and comprehensible. Entries become the property of the Promoter and will not be returned.
12. Entries must be submitted in accordance with the Conditions of Entry and must not be: incomplete; incomprehensible; unlawful or capable of violating any law or giving rise to a civil action; obscene; defamatory or libellous; threatening or harassing; pornographic or contain nudity; hateful; offensive; incite or be capable of encouraging conduct that would be considered a criminal offence; or in violation of the terms and conditions of the relevant social media platform used to enter the Promotion.
13. Entrants warrant that their entry is their own original work, it is not copied in any manner from any other work, and it does not infringe the copyright, moral rights, trademark rights or any other rights of any third party.
14. Winners will be judged at Sony Pictures Releasing Pty Ltd, Level 26, 1 Market Street, Sydney NSW 2000 on Monday, August 1, 2022
15. The winner will be those entrants whose entry is judged by representative appointed by the Promoter to be the most creative from all entries received. The competition is a game of skill and chance plays no part in determining the winner.
16. The judges’ decision is final and the Promoter will not enter into correspondence regarding the result.
17. Winners will be notified by email within 1 day of judging. After being contacted by the Promoter, the winners must confirm their acceptance of the Prize within 24 hours of receiving the email message.
18. To claim their prize, winners may be required to provide supporting identification. The winner must be at least 18 years of age. If the winner, for any reason, does not take any element of the prize at the time stipulated by the Promoter, then the winner forfeits the prize, with no compensation or further liability of the Promoter.
19. Prizes are not transferable or exchangeable and cannot be taken as cash. Winner(s) cannot change, vary, substitute or extend any element of the prize (in whole or in part).
20. The winner will be required to reply with their acceptance and confirmation of attendance must be received by 9.00am AEST Wednesday, August 3, 2022 to confirm receipt of the prize. If communication is not received by that date, the prize will be forfeited.
21.The Promoter and its associated agencies, are not liable for any loss, damage, personal injury or death whatsoever (including, but not limited to, any direct, indirect or consequential loss) suffered or sustained in connection with this competition, the use of a prize or any act or omission (whether negligent or not) of the Promoter, its associated agencies or any person associated with any of them, except to the extent that any liability cannot be excluded by law.
22.If for any reason this competition is not capable of running as planned, including due to infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorised intervention, fraud, technical failures or any other causes beyond the control of the Promoter, which corrupt or affect the administration security, fairness or integrity or proper conduct of this competition, the Promoter reserves the right in its sole discretion to disqualify any individual who tampers with the entry process.
23. In the case of the intervention of any outside agent or event which changes the result or prevents or hinders its determination, including but not limited to vandalism, power failures, tempests, natural disasters, acts of God, civil unrest, strikes; the Promoter may in its discretion cancel the event and recommence it from the start on the same conditions subject to any government regulation.
24.The Promoter reserves the right to refuse to allow a winner to take part in any or all aspects of the prize, if the Promoter determines, in their absolute discretion, that a winner is not in the mental or physical condition necessary to be able to safely participate in the prize. It is a condition of accepting the prize that the winner may be required to sign a legal release in a form determined by the Promoter in its absolute discretion.
25. In accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) (Act) all entries become the property of the Promoter ("we/us") on receipt and we reserve the right to use any personal information provided by an entrant ("you") to enter you in the competition and conduct the competition in accordance with the Sony Pictures Entertainment Privacy Policy found at https://intl.sonypictures.com/en/privacy-policy. If you do not provide us with all or part of the personal information requested, we may not be able to enter you into the competition. You may access your personal information held by us or request to access, edit, correct and/or opt-out their Personal Data in accordance with the Promoter’s Privacy Policy by contacting the Promoter on Contactus_australia@spe.sony.com.
